A LITTLE ABOUT ME

I am rooted in the southwestern corner of Iowa - serving both Iowa and Nebraska. I am a big believer that photos are time capsules of your life story.

I wanted a break from the norm of posed and curated photography and instead provide a unique perspective to your story. Throughout the last four years, I have had the honor and privilege to capture so many different milestones and love stories. My favorites have to be the moments where your nose is scrunched from laughing too hard with your sisters, the spontaneous emotions throughout your wedding day, and all the small details that make your life art.

I started my photography journey in 2018, when my mom gifted me with my first camera for my high school graduation present. Throughout high school, I was always the photo friend, the one documenting her life through her blue-iPhone 5C and editing her photos with those cringy CamWow edits and posting them on VSCO. After high school, I graduated Northwest Missouri State University (Go Bearcats!) where I studied Agricultural Business.

I truly didn’t start taking photography seriously until 2020. When Covid hit, I felt like the world was in such a slump in life and everyone felt stuck. Instead of falling into the pit of that slump and hating every aspect of my routine and season in life, I decided to start documenting the joys around me.

When I am not capturing you in front of my lens, you can find me chasing my two kiddos around, scrolling through Pinterest for my next home-project inspo, or strolling through Target.
